Salvador Perez Has Kept Hitting

A few weeks ago Rany cursed Salvador Perez with an extremely positive post. Despite being thusly jinxed, Sal 'The Savior' Perez has remained hot this September.

We can probably file this right next to the dossier we wrote up on Alcides Escobar when he hit like Cal Ripken for two months, somewhere in the Random Good Things folder. Although Perez hit well at AAA this year (who in the PCL didn't?) he's basically hit better in the Major Leagues than he ever has before, which is, umm, like, umm, you know, kinda rare, or something.

Sure, he's pposted a fluky batting average, but the walks (partial Escobar/Getz/Gio-effect I'm sure) and power are impressive. Maybe there's something to build on here.

In any case, he's been a major part of September's potent Royal offense and seems all but assured of getting 300-400 PAs with the team next year.
