Official Game Thread - Game XXVII - The Highlanders of New York Versus The Royals of Kansas City

As if the two teams were engaging in a perverse game of chicken, the Royals and visiting Highlanders (né Orioles) are trotting out their once hallowed but now grotesquely deflowered young hurlers. With the careers of Luke Hochevar and Phil Hughes sharing the taint of unmet potential and profaning of their prospect stars, this matinee match-up is one that children the world over will be cautioned against watching by concerned parents the world over for fear of adulteration of their chaste progeny.

Call on your neighbors when the game is finished to alert them that the coast is clear and the risk of ruination of their children has diminished. The battle to get an ERA under 7.00 is afoot, though the likelihood of either achieving such a feat is slim.
