The least creative man alive, Ned Yost, faced a quandry when having to talk about Billy Butler last night.

Sure, he wanted to call him "Billy" but that was already what the man went by. What to do?

''I'm just going to let Big Bill do what Big Bill does,'' Yost said, ''hit one in the gap - and he did a little more than that.''

Problem solved. Congrats, Ned, "Big Bill" is a brilliantly creative and evocative nickname by your standards. Sure, he already has one that the fans have latched on to, but why go there? Big Bill.

- H. Quintero singled to shallow center, C. Getz scored
- H. Quintero caught stealing, catcher to shortstop

Remember that horrifying story about how Yost found peace by killing like 20 deer in a day or something? Awesome guy. Creative guy. Thoughtful guy.
