Royals Blasted By Cardinals Again

It required extreme mental effort to make the bat levitate.

After a run of relatively good baseball, the Royals have managed to look hapless against those dastardly Cardinals.

  • Another day, another day of pitching bumblefest. Mendoza was rocked to the tune of seven hits and two walks in under 5. Francisley and Holland made it a laugher.
  • Gordon had a nice day at the plate, reaching base three times with two hits and a walk. Betancourt, Butler, Hosmer, and Francoeur then combined to go 0-16 behind him. There was a little but of noise down at the bottom of the order, but when the core of your lineup does nothing... overall, the club managed just five singles, a Gordon triple, and a Gordon walk.

Do you think the Royals will ever own the K in a game against the Cardinals?
