Game 124 Open Thread - Kansas City Royals (55-68) vs. Boston Red Sox (59-66)

Ah, how the mighty have fallen. The Red Sox not long ago were one of the most stable and admired franchises in baseball. In just a few years they have become the most dysfunctional team in baseball and will likely suffer their first losing season since 1997. A Royals sweep would actually render the two teams essentially tied. Take that Red Sox Nation! Slum it down with us on the Island of Misfit Toys!
