Royals Versus the AL Central: At The Corners

After comparing the five teams at the up the middle positions last week, we move onto the corners.

Guess what? Studies show that Eric Hosmer needs to be better in 2013!

We had to the corners to compare the division today. For the Royals this group includes the team's best everyday player and it's worst.

I probably should have included the designated hitters with this group (Butler, Martinez, Doumit, Reynolds and Dunn) but will save those to headline the bench players in an effort to make that section at least a little interesting.

Alex Gordon and Mike Moustakas stack up nicely against their divisional rivals, while Hosmer and Francoeur (in case you did not realize it) need to improve....a lot.

Who above is most primed for a big improvement? Is it Hosmer or would Justin Morneau be a prime bounce back candidate?

Who is most primed to regress? Alex Rios? Torii Hunter?
