-- Moustakas was a late scratch after fouling a ball of his foot.

-- Escobar was a scratch with "minor back tightness." Dutton tweeted he would be in the lineup if this was the regular season.

-- Somehow, Cain is still in the lineup.

The Royals also played a "B" game this morning against the Rangers. Just for fun, here was the lineup.

I guess it's kind of interesting Dyson is in this one. Word is, Lough is on the bench in the "A" game.

-- Earlier today, the Royals optioned Chris Dwyer and Justin Marks to Triple-A and John Lamb to Double-A. By my count, that leaves 52 players in major league camp.

None of the moves are especially noteworthy. Lamb was always going to open in Northwest Arkansas as he continues his methodical rehab from Tommy John surgery.
