Cactus League Game 27 Open Thread

Royals versus the Dodgers this afternoon at 3:05 Central. The game is on 610, so those of you within hailing distance of the AM signal can listen for free. Up here in the nation's garden spot (Lincoln), we can get 610 until the sun goes down...usually.

Also scheduled to appear are J.C. Gutierrez, Tim Collins, Donnie Joseph and Louis Coleman. Collins is a lock for the pen, but the other three guys cannot afford a bad outing as they battle for the final spot.

By the way, the Royals have an open 40 man roster spot and thus, adding a non-roster invitee (hello Miguel Tejada) is not an issue.

Off day on Thursday, then nine more spring games (Royals play a split-squad contests next Wednesday) before heading north.

Okay, for a little fun (and because I have no grand inspiration to add anything more), after how many regular season plate appearances do you consider sending Eric Hosmer down if he struggles?
