The Kansas City Royals are trotting out the normal lineup today against Dylan Axelrod and the Chicago White Sox. David Lesky brings us the lineup today:
#Royals lineup today: Gordon LF, Escobar SS, Butler DH, Hosmer 1B, Cain CF, Moustakas 3B, Francoeur RF, Perez C, Getz 2B, Guthrie P

Did you know there is a baseball player named Conor Gillaspie? And that he's starting for the White Sox at third base tonight? Because both of those facts were news to me. He even made appearances against the Royals earlier this season and I had already forgotten his existence.
I probably shouldn't mock, since Gillaspie has started 20 games for the Sox at third base and is currently hitting .319/.368/.522. Chicago Tribune beat writer Mark Gonzales brings us the Chicago lineup:
Sox lineup: De Aza lf, Keppinger 2b, rios rf, Dunn 1b, Konerko dh, Gillaspie 3b, Ramirez ss, Flowers c, Wise cf, Axelrod p

Out of the nine hitters in the White Sox lineup, only Gillaspie and Alex Rios are currently hitting above league-average.
Song of the Day: The Fugees - Ready or Not
Thinking about Dylan got me thinking about Wyclef Jean, which in turn led to The Fugees. The Score has aged really well, and is one of my favorite hip-hop albums.
