There will be something that happens at Kauffman Stadium tonight. It might even resemble a real baseball game. I'm going to Europe in two days, so this is what it looks like when I really mail it in. It's not really that different from when I don't mail it in. That speaks volumes to how poorly I do this whole thing. It's best not to have standards for yourself. You'll just let yourself down. Whether or not that coincidentally has pertinence to the Royals of the recent past (and possibly the present) is for you to decide.
