The list is finally here for all you prospect hounds. The Baseball America Royals top 10 prospect list is in this week's issue with full scouting reports.

Here are your 10, with a brief description to give you a taste of how BA feels about said prospect. For a more in-depth write-up, visit the Royals page at Baseball America.

Kyle Zimmer - one of the best pitching prospects in the minors

Yordano Ventura - one of the best arms in baseball

Raul Mondesi - present brilliance with enticing projection

Jorge Bonifacio - one of the best pure hitters in the organization

Miguel Almonte - polished

Sean Manaea - fastball has deception and late life

Hunter Dozier - advanced feel for hitting

Bubba Starling - plus power potential

Jason Adam - changeup will have to improve

Christian Binford - locates fastball with precision

The top eight are pretty much consensus top prospect selections. On this list, the top eight appear on every prospect list collected by KCTiger. Of the top 10, only Ventura is on the 40-man roster. Zimmer, Bonifacio, and Adam earned spring training invites. I guess the only real surprise is the listing of Binford at number 10. According to KCTiger's prospect list collective, only Top Prospect Alert had Binford in their top 10. But when you get to that point of the list, there aren't really any true upsets, are there?
