Royals-Orioles ALCS Game Three rained out

Game to be rescheduled for tomorrow.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Game Three of the American League Championship Series between the Royals and Orioles has officially been postponed due to inclement weather, coming as a shock to no one that is able to look at a weather map. The game will be rescheduled for tomorrow.

This means if you had tickets for tonight's game, you now have tickets for Tuesday's game. If you had tickets for Tuesday's game, you now have tickets for Wednesday's game. And if you have tickets for Wednesday's game, you now have tickets for Thursday's game. If that moves your scheduled game to a night you are unable to attend, like it did for me, well that's just too bad. I'm sure there are plenty of Royals fans available that night who can lighten your load and take that ticket off your hands. Game times will be 7:07 for Tuesday, 3:07 for Wednesday, and 3:07 for Thursday.

This rainout means that James Shields could theoretically pitch Game Four on Wednesday on normal rest should the Royals choose to alter their rotation. The Royals have yet to announce any changes to their current rotation, which has Jeremy Guthrie pitching in Game Three and Jason Vargas pitching in Game Four.
