The Royals announced today that American League Championship Series tickets go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. exclusively on the team website at www.royals.com/postseason.

Fans can buy up to four tickets, based on availability. Tickets will be refunded in the event the games are not necessary. If the Royals are in the American League Championship Series, they will host the following games:

Game Three, Monday, October 13

Game Four, Tuesday, October 14

Game Five (if necessary), Wednesday, October 15

Game times have not yet been announced.

Ticket search engine Tiqiq claims that Royals ALDS Game 3 tickets are averaging $450, the third-most expensive event on average in Kansas City since they began tracking the secondary ticket market five years ago, behind only the 2012 Home Run Derby and 2012 All-Star Game at Kauffman Stadium. They also claim it is the most expensive average ALDS ticket since they began tracking ticket information, eclipsing the Yankees at Orioles Game Three ALDS in 2012. Ticket broker Stubhub already shows ALCS tickets in Kansas City starting at $250 and going up.

So if you have an extra ticket, be sure to let me know! Do you plan on getting ALCS tickets tomorrow?
