Goin' for the sweep.

Jonathan Daniel

The Kansas City Royals will attempt to win their sixth straight game as well as the fourth straight over the Cleveland Indians when they face the Racists at Kauffman Stadium.

Bruce Chen will take the mound for Kansas City. Chen worked five innings in his last start, allowing one run on five hits against the Chicago White Sox. The southpaw has only made six starts this year, but he appears to be fundamentally the same pitcher we have seen in KC the past five seasons. Let's just hope he's extra crafty today.

Danny Salazar will start for Cleveland. Salazar struggled to begin the season and was sent down to the minors in May. He returned Monday to make a start against the Minnesota Twins, allowing one run over five innings. Salazar possesses some impressive stuff and does a great job missing bats, but has struggled with his command, issuing too many walks.

Salvador Perez has the day off, so Brett Hayes will start behind the plate. David Lesky of Pine Tar Press brings us the Royals lineup:

Asdrubal Cabrera is back in the lineup after missing Saturday's game with a lower back injury. The Indians official twitter account brings us their batting order:
