Eric Hosmer exited Thursday's game against the Twins after re-aggravating a hand injury that had kept him out of action last week. The Star's Andy McCullough reports it is a stress fracture, and the Royals expect Hosmer to be out several weeks.

The Royals say they will roll with Billy Butler at first base and try to "hide" his defensive deficiencies. So look for Raul Ibanez to get an extended look at designated hitter.
