Royals pitching matchups the rest of the season

This season depends on these seventeen games.

Rich Schultz

The Royals technically stand 80-64, with a one-game lead on the Detroit Tigers, but I think we have all mentally banked that Cleveland game on August 31 that was suspended in the tenth inning due to rain as a loss. That would put the Royals 80-65 with 17 games to play. Detroit is 80-66 with 16 games to play. All we have to do is finish with one more win than them.

Let's take a look at the tentative pitching matchups the remainder of the season. These are of course subject to change due to weather, injuries, ineffectiveness, and the mystery surrounding Danny Duffy.

And here they come down the stretch! All pitchers are listed with their ERA first, then FIP.
