The Royals have announced they will have a FanFest this off-season, to be held Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31 at Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City. This will mark the second consecutive year the event has been hosted at Bartle Hall after several years at the Overland Park Convention Center. The club did not hold a FanFest in 2012, citing the All-Star Game FanFest at Bartle Hall as a reason to cancel the club FanFest.
The FanFest will run on Friday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with season ticket holders granted access at noon. On Saturday the event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with season ticket holders granted access at 9 a.m. Tickets can be purchased now at www.royals.com/fanfest. Admission prices are:
Adult Advance $14
Adult Day of Sale $16
Youth Advance $8

Here is a post of Gross(est)'s impressions of this past year's FanFest. Here's is a Fanpost from Karte on the 2013 FanFest. I have been in the past and the event is geared mostly towards kids and autograph-hounds. There are some neat exhibits, memorabilia being sold, and a Q&A session that can be interesting, so if you're a diehard Royals fan, I would recommend at least checking it out once.
