2014 Post-Season Prediction Thread

Who will end up having a Plaza Parade this season?

Kevin C. Cox

The Kansas City Royals will be participating in their first post-season in 29 years and they'll be joined by nine other teams who will be playing this week to vie for the 2014 World Championship. Here is what the bracket looks like:

The post-season kicks off tomorrow night with the Royals hosting the Oakland Athletics in the American League Wild Card. The National League Wild Card will be the next night as the Pittsburgh Pirates hosting the San Francisco Giants.

The winner of the American League Wild Card will face the top seeded Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the American League Divisional Series. The winner of that series will face the winner of the Baltimore Orioles-Detroit Tigers series.

In the National League, the winner of the Wild Card will face the top seeded Washington Nationals in the National League Divisional Series. The winner will face the winner of the St. Louis Cardinals-Los Angeles Dodgers series for the right to go to the World Series.

Complete post-season schedules are available here. All American League playoffs will be on TBS, while all National League playoffs will be on either Fox Sports 1 or FOX. The World Series begins October 21 on FOX.
