The Royals will appear in their second consecutive World Series, still seeking their first championship in 30 years. Standing in their way will be the New York Mets, who have faced a championship drought nearly as long, last winning in 1986. The series promises to be an interesting matchup with some of the most dynamic players in the game playing in their prime with two starved fanbases sure to provide a raucous home environment.

The series kicks off on Tuesday in the "best-of-seven" format. If you are attending games at Kauffman Stadium, parking lots typically open five hours before game time, with gates to the stadium opening two and a half hours before game time.
