Royals/Mets World Series Game Two starting lineups

Can they win it in nine innings this time?

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

The Mets makes some changes in the lineup following their Game One loss, sacrificing offense by improving the outfield defense. Here is how Manager Terry Collins lines up his Mets in Game Two against right-hander Johnny Cueto:

RF Curtis Granderson

3B David Wright

2B Daniel Murphy

LF Yoenis Cespedes

1B Lucas Duda

C Travis D'Arnaud

DH Michael Conforto

SS Wilmer Flores

CF Juan Lagares

David Wright is hitting .240/.367/.360 with a home run and five walks in 30 plate appearances. Lucas Duda is hitting .200/.278/.400 with a home run and 10 strikeouts in 18 plate appearances. Daniel Murphy is hitting .176/.263/.176 in 19 plate appearances. Curtis Granderson is 3-for-12 with two home runs and four walks. Juan Lagares is 2-for-12. Wilmer Flores is 1-for-6 with a double. Travis d'Arnaud is 3-for-5 with two doubles. Yoenis Cespedes is 0-for-2.

For the Royals, its the same lineup that Manager Ned Yost has used this entire post-season to great success. Here's how they line up against right-hander Jacob deGrom:

SS Alcides Escobar

2B Ben Zobrist

CF Lorenzo Cain

1B Eric Hosmer

DH Kendrys Morales

3B Mike Moustakas

C Salvador Perez

LF Alex Gordon

RF Alex Rios

No Royals hitters have ever faced Jacob deGrom.

First pitch is on FOX at 7:07 CT.
