World Series Game 3 Open Thread

Kansas City Royals and New York Mets - Game 3

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Royals are two wins away from winning their first world championship in 30 years, and tonight, they go for the commanding 3-0 series lead.

All time, Kansas City is 3-0 in game threes in World Series contests. It sends Yordano Ventura to the hill. The Royals are 7-1 in Ventura's postseason starts all-time. Noah Syndergaard takes the ball for the Mets; he's known for his triple-digit fastball and lethal curveball combination.

Kendrys Morales heads to the bench for the Royals for interleague play, but they are 28-12 in interleague play in the last two seasons.

Will the Royals grab the 3-0 lead, or will the Mets climb back into the series?
