Royals Rumblings - News for March 13, 2015
The Royals kept the hit parade going in a 10-5 win yesterday against the Indians, despite a shaky effort from Danny Duffy.

Bubba Starling even had a couple of hits. Here is one of them.

Luke Hochevar looked sharp in his first game action since Tommy John surgery last year.
"I stepped on the gas pretty good," Hochevar said. "I had no apprehensions about anything. I didn’t feel anything in my elbow that would cause you to step back. It felt good. So I applied as much gas as I felt necessary."
Meanwhile, Andy McCullough has more on Tim Collins missing the season with ligament damage.
For the Royals, Collins’ surgery did not come as a surprise. Yost described the tear as "complete." When Collins suffered a flexor strain last April, a subsequent MRI showed no significant damage to his ligament, Moore said. But Collins felt tightness in his elbow after throwing a curveball in a game last week. He won’t throw another pitch this season.

Rob Neyer gave his take on the Royals in a chat session.
They might finish fourth. They might finish first. If you assume the "real" talent on the four (supposed) contenders ranges from around 78 to 88 wins, then by definition we shouldn't surprised by any order of finish among them. As for their pitching depth, the talent's there. Just gotta be healthy.
