Today was first cuts in camp, and the Royals shipped out a number of guys to minor league camp, including Chris Dwyer, John Lamb, Sean Manaea, and Christian Binford. Bubba Starling remains so there is still a shot we can see him striking out on Opening Day at the K.

Today is Friday the 13th, the day of nightmares for the superstitious crowd. I'm not one to believe in such silliness, and the number 13 has never proven to be unlucky for Royals All-Star catcher Salvador Perez. Besides, what nightmare could possibly haunt me on a beautiful day like this?
