We've blinked a couple times and, suddenly, we're 16 games into Spring Training. In a way, I feel that it hasn't even been that long since the Royals started last year vs. the Tigers in Detroit, losing a crucial game in the bottom of the 9th inning. Of course, that was 11 months ago. Everyday baseball has a curious way of warping one's usual sense of time. Days slip into weeks, which slip into months, which slip into entire seasons that fly by. I, for one, would live the 2014 season all over again if I could.
Today, the Kansas City Royals face the Milwaukee Brewers in a Spring Training game. The Royals will line up as such:

We are almost exactly halfway through Spring Training, as there are 15 more games following this one. Hopefully we all can survive the suspense until April. Then it will be amazing.
