Of all the things that could have happened, this was one of thousands, but it is what we have been given, and so with it we shall proceed.
The Royals lost 2-1 in eleven innings on Sunday, playing out a nearly four-hour contest in the cool sun of the Windy City. Ryan Madson came on to pitch his second inning of work and promptly walked the first two batters he faced. Jason Frasor was brought in to relieve, and gave up contact that very well could have ended the game.
Lo, Danger Ox.

Of course, it wasn't all him. Perez made a great tag. Fowler made a poor slide. And it ended up not being important, as the Cubs would score on a single to win the game. But still. Lo, Danger Ox.
Yordano Ventura dominated again, going seven innings and yielding just one run on four hits and one walk with six strikeouts. It's a good sign that he is starting to round into shape.
What isn't rounding into shape is Omar Infante, whose on-base percentage is .241. He needs to be replaced.
It was a fun game until it wasn't, but the frustrations are mounting, the Twins are in first place, and it'd be good to get June started on the right foot.
