RIP Yogi

Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra passed away last night at the age of 90. Berra was a legendary baseball player who was a three-time MVP, fifteen-time All-Star, and ten-time World Champ. He hit 385 career home runs, collected over 2,000 hits, and is regarded as one of the top five catchers of all-time. He is also one of a handful of managers to win a pennant in each league, leading the 1964 Yankees and 1973 Mets to the World Series.

But what people will probably remember Lawrence Peter Berra most for are his malapropisms. While many of those quotes attributed to him probably didn't even originate with him, Berra was known for his head-scratching sayings that turned out to be pretty clever.

Some of those nuggets of wisdom are applicable to our Royals. Here is just a sample.
