There are three playoff games on today’s docket.
First off, the Dodgers host the Nationals in Game Three of the NLDS, which is tied at a game apiece. Kenta Maeda will twirl the orb for the Dodgers while Gio Gonzalez toes the rubber for Washington. The game starts at 4:00 PM ET and will air on the MLB Network.
The Dodgers will field the following lineup:

The second game of the day starts at 6:00 PM ET on TBS. It will pit the American League Central Champion Cleveland baseball team with a racially insensitive mascot against the American League East Champion Boston Red Sox. With Cleveland up 2-0, they get to the shaky back of the rotation. Josh Tomlin, who had a bit of a rough season in which he allowed more dongs than walks, takes the mound in Boston granting the Red Sox a chance to get back into the series. Boston sends the similarly underwhelming Clay Buchholz to the mound. This game could see some runs scored.
Each of these teams will field a lineup of some sort.
The last game on the schedule features the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giants. With the Giants down two games to nil in a best-of-five series, they turn to their last best hope, Madison Bumgarner. That guy will pitch against Jake Arrieta, who is basically like Madison Bumgarner if Bumgarner was likable and cool. These two teams will probably field lineups too.
The Cubs/Giants game will air on Fox Sports 1 at 9:30 ET.
Hold on to yer butts, there’s going to be a lot of baseball today.
