The Cubs and Indians will play a pivotal Game Three tonight from Wrigley Field, which should be, as the kids say, “lit.” Wrigleyville bars are charging over $100 a head as a cover, parking near the stadium is $80, and this was the scene at 5:30 this morning.

On the field it will be Josh Tomlin (13-9, 4.40 ERA) going against right-hander Kyle Hendricks (16-8, 2.13 ERA). Hendricks has probably been the Cubs’ best pitcher this postseason with a 1.65 ERA in 16 2/3 innings of work, including 7 1⁄3 shutout innings against the Dodgers his last time out.
The Cubs will not start Kyle Schwarber tonight after he was not medically cleared to play the field. The Indians will try to keep Carlos Santana’s bat in the lineup by having him play left field. Santana has played all of four innings in the outfield in his Major League career. But at least we get to see pitchers hitting and running the bases with warmup jackets on.
