Kauffman Stadium can be a difficult place to hit home runs. Between the spacious alleys and the high winds and even the parking lot configuration, the ball tends not to travel too well in Kansas City. The Royals have never been known for having big boppers, but some players take that to the extreme.

There have been 29 seasons in Royals history where a player has gotten 300 plate appearances or more, and only gone yard once or not at all. As you can imagine, most of these players contributed in other ways, through speed or defense, or by putting on their uniform correctly.
