Today is the last day of baseball and we have been blessed with a Game Seven, for all the marbles, the kit and kaboodle, the whole shebang. Progressive Stadium will be, as the kids say, "lit", and we should probably expect this to be the most-watched baseball game in at least a decade, probably two.
Expect both teams to throw the kitchen sink tonight. Kyle Hendricks will start for the Cubs, but Jon Lester is expected to available out of the pen, and the Cubs will likely also use Aroldis Chapman despite his relief outing last night. The Indians counter with Corey Kluber on short rest, but he was masterful his last time out and has been etching a post-season legacy for himself tonight. Win tonight, and he’ll never have to pay for a pierogi in Cleveland ever again.
Here are the lineups.
