Election season is nearly over, mercifully, but I thought we would look back at some of the quotes made by politicians to try to win our vote. Or were they made by those with the Royals trying to win over fans?

Below is a number of quotes, some came from politicians, some came from those with the Royals. Can you guess who said it? (Answers in the comments)

“Losing is for losers.”

A) Republican nominee Donald Trump

B) Royals owner David Glass

"Look, I am a real person, with all the pluses and minuses that go along with being that."

A) Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton

B) Royals closer Wade Davis

“The world tells us that you have to look out for yourself: ‘You better take care of No. 1. You don’t take care of yourself, nobody else will. That’s the biggest lie. It’s about us, it’s about togetherness. It’s how we work as a team that defines our success. Can we sacrifice for the good of the group?”

A) Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders

B) Royals General Manager Dayton Moore

“That’s a bunch of malarkey!”

A) Vice President Joe Biden

B) Royals manager Ned Yost

“I guess everyone is picking on me right now. I just want to make the adjustment. I just need to make the adjustment.”

A) Republican candidate Jeb Bush

B) Royals reliever Joakim Soria

“You all want to be politically correct, I’m the un-politically correct person. We whooped their ass!”

A) Republican candidate Chris Christie

B) Royals outfielder Jonny Gomes

“Don’t boo. Vote!”

A) President Barack Obama

B) Royals second baseman Omar Infante
