Jeremy Guthrie thanks Kansas City

Jeremy Guthrie, if nothing else, has been a complete class act in his time in Kansas City. In addition to being a tremendous leader in the clubhouse, he has also been great in interacting with fans, calling Kansas City home.

Jeremy Guthrie remains a free agent, and while his future is unclear, it seems unlikely he will return in a Royals uniform. No matter what happens to him, he will be fondly remembered, and in turn, he appears to have fond memories in Kansas City.

THANK YOU No other way to express the feelings of my heart or articulate what Kansas City means to my family & me. You are a part of the Guthries forever & we hope we have left you a little better than we found you in 2012. The future will take us on many new adventures but we will always consider KC home. #ForeverRoyal
