Steady Eddie takes to the hill for the Royals. Volquez looked pretty decent last time out, although perhaps the Royals should want him to pitch disastrously in spring training as he did last year, to produce a valuable regular season.
Many Royals regulars start today - Alcides Escobar, Alex Gordon, Eric Hosmer, Salvador Perez. Hunter Dozier gets to start with the big boys. Omar Infante again starts at second base. The veteran has had a rough time coming back from injury, going 0--for-9 with an error.
