Prince William saved a tree surgeon knocked unconscious this week, although without being recognized.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Jim said he even joked he hoped William wasn't flying the chopper. "It wasn't until they were actually loading me into the helicopter and I said 'Willsy better not be flying this thing' and he turned around and said 'Oh, I've been holding your head for the last thirty minutes' that it clicked," said Jim. "And then I said, 'Oh you better come and see me later'."

Constitutionally, there is nothing to prevent the Queen, who became Britain's longest-reigning monarch last September, from stepping down. Edward VIII infamously abdicated in 1936, in order to marry US divorcee Wallis Simpson, upon which the Queen's father became George VI.

If the Queen were to relinquish her position, she would follow Juan Carlos of Spain, who abdicated in June 2014, as well as the last three queens of the Netherlands, who all stepped aside in their seventies to allow their children to succeed them. However, those close to the monarch say that she would never consider giving up her crown.

"She's not staying on because of any concern about [Charles's] abilities as a king," says Sarah Bradford, the author of Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Our Times. "The Queen simply feels she must do her duty and she's never even contemplated abdication."

She started working with the royals in 2007, is a trusted figure and adviser and also a close friend of the Duchess. Rebecca organizes Kate’s work diary and regularly accompanies her on official tours.
