Royals at Astros: Game 7 Game Thread

The Royals look to even up the series at Minute Maid Park.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City was humbled last night, but the Royals look to even the series on Tuesday against the Houston Astros. Right-hander Kris Medlen will make his season debut for the Royals; he takes the hill for the first time this year with this lineup behind him:

Paulo Orlando gets the start in right over Reymond Fuentes, but the top eight hitters remain the same.

The Astros will counter with this lineup:

Old friend Erik Kratz starts for Houston behind the plate.

The Royals haven't won a regular season baseball game in Houston since April 17, 2014. They've lost four straight regular season contests, and five of the last six if you count playoff games. Maybe Medlen will get them off the hook and turn in a quality start.
