Well, looky here. The Royals are behind the Chicago White Sox in the American League Central. Tonight, they look to erase that deficit, or at least keep pace. Not that either really matters at this point in the season but, hey, first place is nice.
In order to do so, Kansas City hopes to win the rubber match against these Detroit Tigers. The Royals send Steady Eddie Volquez to the mound against the new Tiger, Mike Pelfrey. Volquez has been outstanding so far. Pelfrey has...not. Hopefully the Royals can win and take this first series.
