The story of the current time is slumps. The Royals are in a mini-funk, having dropped two stinkers against the Los Angeles Angels of Los Angeles suburb Anaheim. The Angels bats woke up. I think Christopher Lloyd was spotted somewhere...
Still, though, the Royals have not yet lost three games in a row this young season. This is only the second series loss, the other one coming against the Athletics in Oakland. Grumble grumble West Coast grumble grumble. The sky is merely vibrating, not falling or even rumbling.
Lorenzo Cain gets a break tonight, as he is one of the fellows in a bit of a slump. He has struck out a lot (as have a few others), and he is not hitting for any power. Jarrod Dyson gets the start in center field in place of him; Paulo Orlando mans right field tonight. Chris Young starts for the Royals. Nick Tropeano starts for the Angels. Seriously...don't get swept.
