Friday Night Game Thread: Twins at Royals

Finally, the Royals are in action!

It's Friday night baseball at Kauffman Stadium! The Royals and the Twins take the field to open up a three game series.

For Kansas City, Yordano Ventura will make his season debut. After a rough 2015, Ventura looks to solidify his place atop the Royals rotation with a big 2016 season.

Opposing him will be Ervin Santana, the former Royal who enters his second season as the Twins' ace. Santana pitched in just two innings in his season debut on Monday because of a rain delay.

As far as battling lineups go, the Royals will trot out the same nine position players as they did in the first two games against the Mets:
