Royals V. White Sox: Game XLII Thread

An important early season series comes down to Danny Duffy, just as the Baseball Gods intended.

Don't look now, but the Royals have won four of their last five games.

I SAID DON'T LOOK!

Great, now you ruined it.

The Czar of Gnar tilts for Kansas City this afternoon, making his second start of the season. Danny Duffy is still being stretched out from being a reliever to start the year. Last time around, he threw 48 pitches in three innings. I'd expect his cap to be somewhere around 75 this time out.

The Sox of White counter with Miguel Gonzalez. He has made three starts on the year and has not had the most success. In 15.2 innings, he has a 5.17 ERA, 5.47 FIP, and 5.74 BB/9. So not great.

In other news, Mike Moustakas has been activated from the disabled list. In a corresponding move, Omar Infante was designated for assignment.

Ah hahahahaha no. Cheslor Cuthbert was optioned to AAA, where he will play third and second. Hopefully more second than third.
