Royals Review writers to join Jonah Keri, Andre Dawson, Tim Raines on Pitch Talks panel

Come out for a cool event if you like talkin' baseball!

If you like listening to people talk baseball, you like supporting the Negro League Baseball Museum, and you are in Kansas City on June 10, then do I have the event for you! "Pitch Talks", a live speaker series that hosts events around North America is coming to Kansas City, to be hosted by the Negro League Baseball Museum on Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m. Hall of Famers Andre Dawson and Tim Raines headline the event, as they will be honored by the Negro League Baseball Museum that weekend. The event will also include a panel of writers discussing baseball topics, including:

  • Jonah Keri of Grantland, CBS Sports, Nerdist, and Sports Illustrated
  • Sam Mellinger, columnist for the Kansas City Star
  • Jeff Passan, of Yahoo! Sports and author of "The Arm"
  • Former Royals great Amos Otis
  • Arturo Marcano, of ESPN Desportes
  • Michael Engel and Darin Watson of Baseball Prospectus Kansas City

Also on the panel are Max Rieper and Minda Haas Kuhlmann of Royals Review! The event will be hosted by Danny Parkins and Carrington Harrison from 610 Sports KCSP.
