It's Alex Gordon Day Eve in Kansas City. Tomorrow, the three-time All Star left fielder is expected to return to the big-league club. In the meantime, Brett Eibner gets the start in what could be his last game in Kansas City for awhile.

The Houston Astros come to town at 37-36, riding a six-game winning streak. For the first time all year, Houston is over .500. They've torn up the competition in the last few weeks, but nobody in baseball has been better at home than the Kansas City Royals. Tonight, Edinson Volquez and Dallas Keuchel will take the hill in a rematch of the third game of last year's American League Division Series.
