Royals vs Astros: Game LXXIV Thread

Can the Royals hold the Astros to fewer than 13 runs?

Thomas B. Shea-USA TODAY Sports

The Royals have given up an Astronomical 26 runs so far in this series. Today they hope to salvage the series by winning 1, though probably not their run differential.

The Royals will pitch erstwhile "Ace" Ian Kennedy, who has good career numbers versus the Astros team, and is holding current Astros hitters to a .169 average with 2 home runs in 59 ABs. He threw 7 innings and allow 1 run on a solo home run to Jose Altuve.

On the Astros side Doug Fister will appear, when the Royals saw him earlier this year he allowed 6 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings but has been the opposite of Ian Kennedy, showing better results for each month and currently sports a 1.71 ERA in the month of June.
