Royals V. Rangers: Game CIII Thread

Feel the Burns.

Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

Man in Black: The season died well, that should please you. No bribe attempts or blubbering. It simply said, "Please. Please, I need to live." It was the "please" that caught my memory. I asked him what was so important for him. "The Process," he replied. And then he spoke of a team of surpassing beauty and faithfulness. I can only assume he meant you. You should bless me for destroying him before he found out what you really are.

Royals Fan: And what am I?

Man in Black: Faithfulness he talked of, your enduring faithfulness! Now, tell me truly. When you found out he was gone, did you switch back to Arrowhead Pride that same hour, or did you wait a whole week out of respect for the dead?

Royals Fan: You mocked me once. Never do it again! I died that day.

Ian Kennedy twirls tonight for the Kansas City Royals. He is currently 6-9 and the year with a 4.41 ERA. Not exactly what the Royals were hoping for, among many things hoped for and now lost.

The Rangers counter with Martin Perez, who is 7-7 with a 4.38 ERA. Lord willing and if the creek don't rise, Kansas City might have a shot of winning a baseball game.
