The trade deadline is just over 24 hours away, and by 3pm CT tomorrow we'll know if the Royals were able to make a move to improve the team for next year. Already they have acquired outfielder Billy Burns from the Athletics for outfielder Brett Eibner, and it appears that Wade Davis is no longer available after he was sent to Kansas City for an MRI after not looking right in his outing last week against the Angels. Other Royals rumors:
Edinson Volquez is drawing light interest.

Add #Royals to list of teams #SFGiants are monitoring. Edinson Volquez could be available as a rental. Wade Davis probably not realistic.

I personally like the thought of a Johnny Cueto-Edinson Volquez reunion w/ #SFGiants. Those guys seem to bring out the best in each other.

He is an impending free agent, so perhaps they are checking in on him to sign him this winter. He's also a flyball pitcher who has enjoyed a comeback season. We profiled him earlier this month.
The Royals are likely to make a move, according to experts.
