The Royals try to get back to their winning ways against the lowly Twins after a dismal pair of series at home against the Yankees and Tigers.

The Royals send Ian Kennedy to the mound. Kennedy has strung together seven sterling starts. In those 45.2 innings, he's had just a 1.77 ERA, striking out 37 while walking just 11.

The Twins turn to Jose Berrios, fresh off his umpteenth recall from the minors this season. He earned each promotion and each demotion.
