The Chiefs host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first home playoff game in Kansas City since 2010, when Matt Cassel lost to the Baltimore Ravens 30-7. This year, the Chiefs have a much stronger team, going 12-4 as the #2 seed in the AFC, earning a first-round bye. The Chiefs have one of their best defenses in years, and the offense has played well at times with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce turning into dynamic playmakers.
The Steelers are no pushover however, with one of the most prolific offenses in football, with championship-winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, patient running back Le’Veon Bell, and explosive wide receiver Antonio Brown.
The game was pushed back to 7:20 CT due to the ice storms in Kansas City, which should only make the crowd rowdier and louder. The winner will travel to New England to take on the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
Also this afternoon, the Dallas Cowboys will host the Green Bay Packers to determine who goes to the NFC Championship game. The winner will take on the Atlanta Falcons.
Who ya got?
