Rank your favorite MLB teams, first to last

It is a popularity contest

If you are reading this site, it is probably safe to assume you think the Kansas City Royals are #1. But who is #2? We all have other teams we pull for at times, and we definitely have teams we loathe with the passion of a thousand suns. So let’s rank them!

Twins fans recently ranked their favorite MLB teams and found that even though they are division rivals with the Royals, our boys in blue are their third-favorite team! Perhaps that is due to the relative proximity of the two teams (the battle for Iowa rages on!) or the fact the two teams have never been good at the same time, or perhaps the fanbases have bonded over a mutual loathing for Hawk Harrelson. Here is how one commenter put it:

Beautiful ballpark just down 35, with tons of great tailgating and nice fans. They were our nemeses [sic] in the 1970s, then they became our whipping boys and home away from home. Now they are a fun team to watch and a good representative from the AL Central.

Will Royals fans return the favor? Who is liked among Royals fans? Who is hated?

Please rank all MLB teams 1-30, with #1 being your favorite team (Royals) and #30 being your least favorite team (not going to tell you who to vote for, but it rhymes with “Mardinals”). I will only tabulate votes that list all 30 teams. Please feel free to leave comments on your feelings for each team. I will take the votes and tabulate them early next week.
