There are few things in sports better than a playoff Game Seven. There are fewer things in sports better than a baseball Game Seven. Yeah, NBA game sevens are fun and all, but baseball sevens are played almost like an entirely different sport.
‘Pulling out all the stops’ is an organ term (music organ, or that pipe thing at the local Anglican church you’ve seen that one time) where the organist activates every ‘stop,’ meaning that all the pipes are going at full blast. Expect all possible stops to be pulled out here. Every pitcher should be available and, heck, maybe even some who shouldn’t.
