Friday playoffs open thread

We have three games of action in MLB playoff news today. The Red Sox will try to recover from the Jose Altuve train that hit them yesterday with Game 2 of the ALDS on FS1. Drew Pomeranz takes on Dallas Keuchel. The Yankees try to muster some offense at 4 p.m. CT against that Indians pitching staff in Game 2 on MLB Network. C.C. Sabathia takes on Corey Kluber.

And the National League Divisional Series gets underway tonight at 6:30 CT when the Cubs take on the Nationals with Kyle Hendricks taking on Stephen Strasburg on TBS. Finally, at 9:30, the Diamondbacks take on the Dodgers with Taijuan Walker against Clayton Kershaw.

Its a baseball smorgasbord!
