What would your Royals Opening Day roster look like right now?

It is....not pretty.

So it is December, still 99 days away from Opening Day. The Royals have a lot of work to do on their roster, but with their plan to cut payroll, they don’t really have much flexibility to add to the roster. If anything, you will simply see them subtract.

Despite their hardships, the Royals are obligated to play 162 games next year. Looking at the current roster, what would your starting lineup look like right now sans Hosmer, Moustakas, and Cain? Who fills out your roster on the bench? What does your pitching staff look like?

Take a look at the roster you have filled out. What is the most urgent area of need for just...warm bodies? How many games does that team win?

One thing is for sure - Dayton Moore has his work cut out for him the next few years.
